Don Terrell founded Wings back in 1989 to help support his passion for sporting travel.  It remained a hobby business for the first few years, but has grown into a nationally recognized sporting travel business.

Don is a graduate of Elon University in North Carolina, and after four years in the Air Force, including a stint in Vietnam, Don returned to the Carolinas, and joined a regional bank.  Operating his business in the evenings for many years, he continued to work in banking until he retired in 2000, becoming the full time proprietor of Wings Inc. 

A dedicated outdoorsman and hunting enthusiast, he has also taken a leadership role in several outdoor organizations.  He is past South Carolina State Vice Chairman for Ducks Unlimited and is a Life Sponsor.  He is also a Life Sponsor of the National Wild Turkey Federation and a Sponsor of Delta Waterfowl. 

He is active in leadership roles with the Boy Scouts of America, and has been awarded the Silver Beaver Award for services to that organization.  He continues to live in Camden, South Carolina (SC), where the offices of Wings Inc. are located.  He is a past president of the Camden Chamber of Commerce and of the Camden Rotary Club.  He continues to serve on various civic boards in his community, and works full time with Wings Inc.
