One of our favorite Argentina sites to send avid duck hunters is the 3,000 acre Estancia La Plegaria, located in the nearby town of Chascomus, only 120 kilometers from the city of Buenos Aires and the Ezeiza International Airport.  This facility can host 6 – 8 hunters in modern facilities.  Most of the rooms have queen beds and are all equipped with quality furnishings. 

The season runs from May 1 through July 31.  This area, known as the depression of the Rio Salado, provides for excellent duck shoots.  Good pasture and croplands with depressions, ponds, lagoons and marshlands are an ideal habitat for ducks.  Shooting is primarily done in baited lagoons or ponds, and sometimes in baited canals or passes between large water bodies.

A 25 bird limit per person in the morning hunts and 15 in the afternoon hunt are suggested.
